Just to repeat the popular theme- go with the 1200c. I am 6' 1" and 230. I love the feel of the 1200c-lots of pull for my fat *** too. Plus I think it looks badass to be a big guy on a sportster. Remember that lots of old-timers rode the 883 in the 60's not all of them were tiny dudes.

 

I enjoy my 1200L. Reason I went with a Sporty, was so that I could handle the weight issues of holding the bike up. Works great with minor back issues, and does the speed limit quite well! Enjoy, what you can afford and handle!
