Default 24.5in handle bars

will 24.5 in drag bars work on our sportsters? Seems a little short.

Yes 24.5" will work. BTW those bars in your link are not knurled, you need bars that are knurled and dimpled or drilled if you're doing internal wiring.

i wont be doing internal wiring. It says their dimpled for the wires though. Will they be sliding all over the place if their not knurled?

nah, shouldn't be too bad. If they start sliding around, you can take a center punch and knock some dings in it to help hold, but you should be fine. And you don't HAVE to buy high dollar bars that are dimpled and stuff. Drilling holes for wires is a cakewalk on a cheap set of bars.

Stock HD drag bars should be knurled. If not, do like guitarman said and knock some dings in with a center punch.

Ive got 29inch drag bars on mine....i really like the set up. i feel that anything less then 27" would make the bars just feel too congested.
