Default Louder with Mufflers Only

I just got my wife a new 883L. My question is: Is there a set of slip on's that will give here more of a rumble without changing the air cleaner and re-jetting. I can do the rejetting and stage 1 myself, just want to explore all avenues.

You can usually add Cycle Shack Slip-ons or SE II Slip-ons without the need to swap the air cleaner or change jets. What you'll get is more of the Harley sound, but the performance increase will come only when you change the AC and re-jet in conjunction with the free-flow slip-ons.

You still get a small performance increase with the slip-ons, but not as drastic. You have to be sensitive in order to feel it. One thing that I noticed when I did the slip-ons only is that virtually all mirror vibration disappeared. It was never really a problem at highway speeds, but second gear at around 30 mph was the worst. When I put on a set of cycle shacks it's been 100% smooth in all gears and at all speeds up to 90 mph.

When I changed my '99 to the cycle shack slip-ons, it started running on the lean side. Not super lean, but lean enough that I was concerned about making the trips I make when the weather really heats up this summer, so I went ahead and did the carb mods. Better safe than sorry I figured.

I guess each bike is different, but I would definetly read the plugs and monitor what the mixture is doing if you just change the mufflers.

I put a set of SEII of the wifes 06 883L. I left the stock A/C on. Made a world of difference sound wise. It actually sounds like a Harley now. I checked the plugs after 200 miles and they were still tan so no jetting or adjustments required for me.
