In north LA they are called red necks, in south LA they are called Coon -asses. I'm from centrel LA does that make me a red ***. Funny story, on the bright side you can get a faster bike out of it.

Update: Needs new pistons, wrist pin, cylinders, already installed new lifters before we found the wrist pin. Top it all off........bent front rod so add in a new set of rods. Bright side is that I won't have to worry about anything on the topend since everything will be new. I still had my original cylinders so we're probably gonna just bore them.

You can tell how far down we are from the pics. Plus my mechanic has a twisted sense of humor. That is his sign. He's also picked at me that he's putting it back to 883 and putting in the stock cams and ignition to slow me down. Two days ago he told me someone offered $500.00 for her. He had found me a bike........a shovelhead. Slow and broke down 75% of the time. The ribbing I get there, (in good fun) really makes it easier for those "girl bike comments." Really is that all you got? Wow, I've heard a hell of a lot more creative insults. The latest is for the Anniversary bikes. They call em Duracel's. Nothing like a real bike shop. There is no Cappucino machine or video games. Just smoke, grease, wrenches and engine parts. Love it.

Harley rods are unavailable.
S & S are though.
S & S pistons are to.
Now if I can just take out a loan it looks like she's gonna be a hell of a lot faster with a brand new top end. Just need about $2500.00

We talking push rods or crank rods? If you're down that far, you might as well throw in a S&S crank to stroke her a little bit. I have one in mine, she loves to be stroked .
