Default Custom stretch or larger type tank

I am looking for a custom stretch or bobber type tank for my 08 883
I've did all the usally GOOGLE type searched and can not find a tank that confirms it will fit anything later than an "04"

Just curious if anyone knows where to find an extended or strech type tank for an 08 Sporty ???

If you know a welder and painter, ANY tank will work. Just fab new tabs and a mounting bracket. Just an idea.

Or just get a custom factory style 4.5 gallon tank.

"Stretched" and "tank" don't really belong in the same sentence with "bobber". The whole idea of a bobber is, well "bobbed" stuff - short 'n' fat. Tight wheelbase, lopped off rear fender, stubby peanut tank, stubby pipes, etc. You can probably bolt on the larger tank from a 1200 but it will completely go against the stying of your 883. IMO.

In fact, as per requests like yours, it wouldn't surprise me if the aftermarket came up with a larger tank that was fatter/taller (rather than stretched lengthwise) to keep that compressed look.

You'd have to get a tank that will fit your fuel pump..since it's in the tank. I think RSD makes one, but of course like everything he makes - it's pricey.
