Default Got my new hand grips

Got my nice shiny new chrome hand grips today. I couldnt believe how easy it was to put them on! The throttle side was a little harder than the left but I put a thin amount of soapy water on the inside of the handgrip and was able to finally get it to slip over the throttle sleeve. I have one question. Should I use some sort of adhesive under the grips? I notice that when I took the stock grips off they had like a rubber cement type stuff inside. The throttle side I actually had to make a cut in with a stanley knife to get it off.

Depends on the grips. Mine didn't require any adhesive.

Rode to work this morning and the new grips seem to be sticking just fine. Just wasnt sure since the original grips had some sort of glue in them.

This last weekend I got new grips on my scoot as well. I had the factory grips and my hand would cramp up and fall asleep. Bigger grips made a big difference. I was lazy I paid the dealer to put them on.

they were really easy to put on. Wish changing the oil was that easy![:@] I still might spray a little sticky stuff under the throttle side because I have noticed it slides back down a little. Nothing major though.
