Default Are these mids or forewards?

Are these forewards or mids on my bike? I've heard mixed answers, so... final verdict is?
I think they're Forewards.

Yes, forewards. Mids are in the middle, shifter directly mounted to the gearbox, forewards are mounted to the frame at the front with linkage to the gearbox.

Show him these posts so he can say we are all wrong, or go to the Harley Davison web site and show him the difference on the bike builder section. Start with going to bikes, go to bike builder, start with one that has mids like XL883L and put on forwards with the builder. It'll shut him up. BTW looks like a Sporty 883 or 1200 C which came stock with forwards.
