Default handle bars

I have a 2008 sporty xl883. I hate the bars I have to always lean forward to reach they are too short and don't come back far enough. What would be a good replacement or adjustment?

You should look at replacing the bars. Mini-apes would work. Or you can change the risers to move the bars back and up. You'll get more adjustment from replacing the bars but the risers will be cheaper.

depends on what yr lookin for more, style or comfort, could go alot of different ways, i found myself leaning way to forward on the stockers too so i got some big apes. but my hands randomly fall asleep if i'm riddin for 2+hrs so that is a downside. comfort, buckhorns would be a comfy ride but IMO they don't look very good. someone said it above, yr best bet might be mini apes 10 or 12"ers
