Default Does anyone have the Road 6 Customs bars?

Does anyone have the Road 6 Customs 12" bars. The ones I am talking about kind of look like roland sands vintage bars. Does anyone know if these bars are worth buying. I love the Roland Sands Vintage and was going to get them, then I saw these and they look similar and are $130 instead of $330 like the Roland Sands.

I had those exact bars, just sold them to go up to 16" apes, and they are very comfortable and extremely well made.

For the coin, you won't be disappointed.

I also love the Roland Sands bars and looked at Road6Customs. I haven't yet bought either one but I have decided to stick with the original RSD bars.

I cannot speak of the quality of Road6Custom bars but they do look like cheap knockoffs of the RSD bars.

A couple of the cosmetic differences I noticed after looking at them for a while...

1. You'll notice that the Road6 bars bend outward from a specific spot instead of being a smooth outward bend like the RSD bars.

2. The gussets underneath the Road6 bars have a gap between them and the bars. RSD does not.

Here is a side-by-side comparison...

I think you will be much happier with the RSD bars.

Just purchased a set of the 8" bars. Me, I like the look for them both and for less than half the price, I'll take the Road 6 bars any day. They got em out to me right away and they arrived earlier than I was told. Welds look great and there's nothing I can find wrong with the powder coating. I say if you don't mind the small difference, go for them! If you call them and then paypal them the money they take $10 off. With shipping mine came to $150. Oh, the way they packaged them for shipping was great.

i had the road 6 bars a year ago before i wrecked. top quality! the rsd bars are way over priced and i would never give that d-bag any money...

If nobody has any by the time I get mine on, I'll try to post them. I hope to get them on next weekend when I'm off.
