ill admit i have the brown, but 3/4 metal flake are getting so blown up now. its a shame cuz its so comfy but i hate passing my helmet on the road on someone else. time to change the paint job...

 

Yeah, I love that rootbeer color. I agree though. I got this one and it is bright as hell (that much more to see from the cagers). I figured I'd be one of the only ones around rockin that thing, and then the other day, a guy cruises by my house on an old chopped up custom job of a honda 650 bobber with the same helmet. He saw my bike in the garage and pulled up and we talked a while. Cool dude. He said the same as me and said he had to get rid of it now and wear something else. We laughed about it. I aint changing it for a while. I love it and only wear the 3/4. This one fits and looks great. I may just get a flat black too and a gloss for my wife. She loves the old school look of the 3/4 too.

 

No flake here....but I do have the "flat black" Biltwell being shipped as we speak.

I say go the "flat" route and then pinstripe to taste.

i have a metalflake red one that i wear during the winter. i wear a NOS goldflake one (not biltwell) during the warmer months.

they are damn comfy

I am watching a gold metalflake NOS on ebay. How do those fit? Do the fit close to the dome like the biltwell? How comfortable are they?

 

mine fits snug. just make sure you get your right size. its comfortable, but not as "cushy" as a biltwell. doesn't make me look like a bobble head either which is good.

 

man wish i could afford one...WAYYYYY to much $$
