Default Bag options for nightster

I need to put on some bag(s) to put small things along for the ride (bottle of water, wallet, cell) on my nightster. Could any of you that have done any kind of small bag mount or storage idea post pics so I can figure out what look is for me. Of course this will also be a great research tool for others later.

I did see that. I like that idea, only I have my plate mounted on its side. But definitely creative.

I ordered this from Licks Custom Cycles a week ago (they're on backorder). There was a thread on this. It's sort of a triangular bag that fits on the left side in front of the shocks. Haven't received it yet.

"Licks Solo Bag-2004 to 2009-Rubber Mount-XL's (SoloBg-RM) = $199.99
Variations Indian Head Nickels
Add On's Black Piping"

Default Licks Solo Bag

Here's a picture of my Licks Solo Bag and HD fork bag. They don't hold much - just the essentials.

Yea the Lick's Solo Bag is the way to go for storing essentials. Doesn't detract from the lines of the bike. Here is the link to the website...

As someone said...they are on back order but IMO its the only bag option for the Nightster.

How does the Lick's bag attached to the bike. I couldn't tell from the website.

Inside the bag and thru double slots on the side facing the bike, there are 3 straps. In the center slot there is a leather strap with buckel. Then there are 2 nylon straps with velcro on either side of that. The excess material from the straps take up valuable storage space in the bag and the velcro straps are a general pain in the **** and don't work that well. I replaced them with plastic electrical cable zip ties. They are easier to place, more secure and the excess can be cut off. They are easy to cut to remove the bag and easy to replace.
