Default Not running right

I want to see if anyone has had a similar problem. My bike is a 2005 1200C with SE air cleaner, SEII pipes and rejectted at the dealer last year. The bike had 2500 miles on it when this work was done. I put it away for the winter with about 6300 miles. The bike ran great after the Stage 1 with pipes. Since this spring it has started to run poorly. At first it seemed to be normal getting out of storage, but things have gotten worse. The fuel valve now leaks when I shut the engine off. Turning the valve to off limits the amount of gas that leaks out. The leak appears around where the gas line goes onto the shut off valve. The bike acts like the cylinders are flooded. It has fouled plugs. During April the poor running was very intermittent and I was able to ride. Today the trouble started 3 miles from home and I made it back and I'll have to get the thing to the dealer before I can plan on any more riding. If the bike ran well during the ride I did not notice the fuel leak. If it runs poorly I see the leak after I shut the bike off. I have a service appointment at the dealer for the end of this month. I will be calling tomorrow to see if they can get it in sooner. Does any body have any idea what has gone wrong?

Check the fuel valve/petcock. These have been known to fail. Attach a piece of hose to the vaccume port and see if you can suck any gas through it. If it has failed, then it will be dumping extra fuel and making the bike run real rich. You will have low fuel economy, fouled plugs, etc. It is warranty work to have it fixed.
