Problem Solved! Ape Hangers grip on Risers.
So after trying a bunch of suggestions and having them fail. It finally hit me. I drilled a 9/32" inch hole through each side of my risers and into the bars. then I took a 5/16" threaded rod and screwed it in there until they got about 1/4" into the bars. cut the rod with a dremel and put a decorative washer and acorn nut to top it off. Worked out awesome those things are not going anywhere. on a side note. I thought i was being real careful until I found out I was pushing a little too hard with the drill and popped through the bars into my internal wiring......turned a 5 minute job into a 3 1/2 hour ordeal. I pretty much had to do an entire ape hanger install all over again minus hooking up throttle, brake and clutch cables. the other side went off with out a hitch though. I attached pictures of the final product

Are they just moving where the top tree mounts to the risers? The bushing in the tree allows for slight movement back & forth.

Nope, they are twisting in the risers. I have knurled bars and the risers torqued tight and they still occassonally slip. I guess it is because the bars are so high they have more leverage against the risers? Either way, it is not bad, they will slip a couple inches when I am pushing on the bike trying to roll it around in the shop or making 3-point turns in the yard.
