so last night i get off the bike and shut it off for about 5 min. at my buddy's house. get back on and fire it up, little cloud of white smoke puffed out of the breather, the motor chugged a little and was ok the rest of the night. for you guys running the open breather, how often are you recharging the filter, i.e. clean and oil?

Sounds like it could be more of a common problem from all the posts. Hope you get some answers and the bike back on the road. Keep us updated.

sorry to hear that soup. Sucks man. Hopefully they fix it and HD corp doesn't give you sh*t for the PC, even if the dealer installed it. The reason I went with the SEST and not a PC is because my buddies at the dealer told me to stay away from them. They have had over 20 bikes being fried from them. One instance I was actually there when someone brought in their bike fried from the PC. As much as people love the PC's, they do pose serious problems as piggybacks for some peeps, not all, but some.

When you get it back, look into a SEST and forget about the potential headaches.

Default sux man

Please keep us informed (ummm, as everyone else so clearly said) I want to know if there's any trouble down the road for my PC 5. It's supposed to be a more stable system than the 3 but it's so new that Im not sure anyone has gotten to truly test its reliability.

Freakdawg:: is that your boxer?? I just got 2 puppies.

I should have some kind of answer today. The work is being done at Hannum's as for the PC I hope that's not the problem as I'm currently running the PC5. The bike was on the lift when I stopped in last night. Will keep everyone posted, thanks for the words of encouragement.

That's why I left my bikes stock, not interested in a couple extra horses, not worth all the trouble, good luck.
