Cool Gel pad

Does anyone have a gel bad on there seat.do you like it? i don't want a new seat,like the one i have. Thanks

I have one but don't use it. The comfort is an improvement, but they raise you up off the seat to much IMO.

I used one, one time and it felt like I was sitting in my own Sh*t, didn't care for that.

They are comfy, that's for sure, they do sit you up some, to be expected. DO NOT LEAVE IT IN THE SUN, can you say cooked "twins". I used to use one for long rides but switched to a bathroom mat. My dad was a trucker, his advise, and it works good too. Keeps my bottom dry and comfy too. No issues with heat either, actually cooler than stock.

I'd like to hear more about the "bath mat" method... like a **** shower mat, you cut it to cover the seat or what? This sounds kinda kool.

I bought one at Sturgis, and used it on a ride to Alaska. Didn't like it and never used it again.

my cuz uses a wheelchair pad seat works good for his old azz
right now i dont know the name of it,i think he got it at wally world

and yes i have a gel seat pad but never liked it so it went into file 13

I have found the air cushion pads work better than the gel pads for me
