Exclamation Seat fitting question

I never got real clarification on how well an seat will fit on my 08 Nightster. I was looking to buy a 2 up from HD for when the woman wants to ride every once in a while. The question is will a seat that says it fits '04-later XL883C, XL1200C, XL1200L and '08-later XL1200R models. Will that actually fit on my scoot b/c I know the ecu is under there. Thanks

Be careful, you want one that say's 07 and up. The EFI bikes require a different cutout under the seat to accommodate the ECM. Also, seats are a different length depending on whether the bike has a 3.3 or 4.5 gallon tank.

Why not simplify matters and go to harleys website, parts and accessories, dial in your model and year and then search. It really does simplify things. I have it bookmarked so when I find a deal on ebay, or craigs or whatever I can dial it in and see if it really is a deal.

Again, 04 & up DOES NOT mean it will fit 07 & up unless it specifically says so.
