he will defintely need a fuel managment system for the new amount of air coming in. all the velocity stacks listed in this thread will bolt directly to his nightster. air intakes that bolt to CV carbs will work for EFI systems.

What kind of air breather do you recommend. I don't like the way the screamin eagle looks like. I want something different. Suggestions?

Even with a filter in a stack there are extra considerations. Your filter has way less filter area than typical. That means if it has good filtration characteristics, you've gotta change it much more often - same volume of air over smaller area means the filter fills with dirt more quickly. Or if the filter characteristics aren't that great, then it will not filter as efficiently as needed, and increased engine wear happens.

It's an engineering vs looks trade-off. Nothing wrong with balancing that equation however you want, but it's best to know what your final equation equals.
