Lolly Pop Baffles ????
Anyone heard of Thunderboltz (lollypop) baffles?? I have V&H straight shot slipons on my '07 1200C with NO baffles. It has been suggested that I add these baffles to increase back pressure. Also told these are easy to make.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ken

Save your money on that BCT crap. They are nothing more than a shorty baffle with a lollipop in them. You can get a set of short baffles for about 12 bucks and put your own lollipop in them or just put a lollipop alone in your pipes.
I have lollipops that I made and put in front of the mufflers on my RKC. I used 1" washers with the hole welded shut. They were welded on a1/2" bolt with the head cut off. They cost about 50 cents to make.

You can combine the home-made lollipops with copper pipe reducers to create a venturi. I slip the pipe reducers up the pipe, add the lollipops after them. The pipe reducer venturi increases the velocity of the exhaust gases that pass through them, reducing the pressure after the venturi. Since the gases must flow from higher-to-lower pressure, this helps prevent reversion.

I used a thumb screw with a couple lock washers and nuts. Not that big of a welder nor did i know anyone close by that could weld the washers for me. Spent <$2 on hardware and a $5 drill bit to go through the pipe. Took 10 minutes total.
I did learn the hard way that you have to bolt on the lollipop on the same side of the pipe where the screw holding the baffel is. Since you dont have baffles that should make it easy for you.
