Default hello everyone..iron...new....

hello everyone, for the last few weeks i've been reading post after post and it seems like i can't stop reading lol. I'm planning on getting a new iron hopefully soon... just have a few questions first.
was wondering if there is anyway to not need a cosigner? Went to the dealer and because i'm 19 and don't have any credit(no credit card ever or anything) they said i'm going to need a cosigner but can't find anyone to consign, any way to not need a cosigner?
Other big question is that i never actually never ridden a motorcycle before and plan on getting my classes and all that stuff done to ride and was wondering what everyone thinks on the iron for a new rider? Easy to learn on? I mean I'm a big guy..5'11" 210. To small for me u think? I plan on getting exhaust, airfilter, engine guard, ape hangers after i get the bike and feel good on the actually riding part.

A nice chunk of cash always helps out with the cosigner prob. And I'm 5'10" 220 and ride a 1200c with no probs

I was about your age when I wanted to buy a new car and was told the same thing. I didn't have a cosigner so I bought a use car with the cash that I was going to use as the down payment and then started making those payments to myself. This was back in the 70's and the car payment would have been $129 for 48 months. Saving that $129 a month I had the full cash payment in just over 2 1/2 years later. I payed cash for a new car and kept making a payment to my self and am now 52 and have still never finaced a car or a motorcyle. Patience is the key to freedom.

I am 6-1 205 and I don't feel like the 883 is too small for me. Good choice to go get the classes. They really help you understand how to deal with the fact that you are invisible to 75% of the cagers out there.

Welcome, good luck and ride safe!

with no credit, you either need to buy the bike outright or have someone cosign. that is pretty much the way it goes.
