Default Nightster forward controls or mid controls?

I'm stationed in Korea and am going to get a Nightster when I get back to the states but I'm not sure if I should put on the forward control kit for longer trips. Does anyone have any preferences for one over the other?

Default Depends on your height

I'm 6' tall and couldn't ride my sporty w/o forwards. I tried a sporty and a wide glide with mids and couldn't stand it.

I am only 5'5 and I am putting forwards on my N. It feels like my legs are up my *** with mids. I noticed that when I first bought the bike. get the forwards, you will not regret. BUT dont pay $400 for. you can buy them for about $270 if you look.

I don't really mind the mids ( 5'10)but on longer trips I wish I had highway pegs. Though there are a lot more options for pipes if you have forwards so I'll probably switch.

Road conditions come into play too. Here in NY, the roads are really bad and the mids are great for posting up on - something that is very helpful with the Nighsters short suspension travel.

I'm 6'1 and fine with the mids. I have debated for a while on getting forwards, but right now I really don't see a need for them.
It all depends on the rider.

I'm a hair away from 6'4" and I'm fine with the mids. A good way to see what you'll like is this: How are your feet stationed at your computer desk right now??? if they are tucked under your chair then the mids will be comfy for you. if you got your feet kicked out way under your desk then get the forwards. I'm comfy with my legs under my chair all the time, hence why I like the mids
