Default Thunder Heart module Part# 201526 -Cootertwo!

Anyone have any experience with this module. Cootertwo, I know you've got it. Tell me everything you know.
I've been looking at the Twin Tec, but won't shell out nearly $300. So it looks like I'm down to the HD Race Tuner or the Thunder Heart. Pro's, Con's, of each? Anyone know of any others that'll work properly on an '06?

This is becoming a must as my cam seems to open up around 4000 rpms and the rev limiter kicks in almost immediately afterwards.

Thanks all.

I love my Thunder Heart, but it's the only one I've tried, besides a SE upgrade module. The Thunder Heart only comes with a basic curve loaded, and is only for carbed bikes. You won't find any maps for your bike type, etc. etc. I tweaked mine a few times, on my laptop, and uploaded the changes. It only takes a few seconds to upload. It also has a function to let you calibrate your speedometer. And a wire for a tac, one for a shift light, and one for a stage rev limit (such as might be used for drag racing) also, of course, you can set the main rev limit. I set mine at 7000, which is what the SE module was set for. My 883 SCREAMS, I think. I noticed a difference with the SE module, mainly because of the raised rev limit, but with the Thunder Heart, after I messed with the advance, and advance curve, my 883 came to life. (180 main/48 low no baffles or CAT) I had got a SE ignition tuner setup off of Ebay, but it had been used, and was locked, unusable to me. Now for the BURN. The best thing about the Thunder Heart, is that it's NOT a HARLEY stealership item.

I'm ignorant when it comes to "curves, maps, timing, etc". If I were to get that module, is there a way you can tell me what to do to get it to perform properly? Can the settings be emailed or easily described how to set and to what spec? I might be better off w/ the SE Race Tuner since it comes preloaded. The other option to me is the Twin Tec module, but it seems pricey and just as difficult to set up as yours. My understanding is that if the timing, etc is set wrong, then I can really ruin a motor in a hurry... right?

What's everyone's opinion for those with experience with any of these, what would you buy at said price and why?

THUNDER HEART PERFORMANCE IGNITION 2004 HD UP 21010069 = $215

SE Race Tuner Ignition = $160

Twin Tec TC88 Ignition = $240+cables

I guess I'm leaning towards the SE Race Tuner? Cootertwo, why did you choose the Thunder Heart over the SE Race Tuner?

You can get the TC88A for quite a bit less than $300....

Just did a quick check, and found that you can get these for right at $223.

I got a SE module, $130.00 shipped. Raised the rev limit, but that was all. Didn't notice much change in the timing, and it left my speedo reading about 10mph fast. Got a race tuner off Ebay, but it was used, and was "locked" I got my money back, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. More HD bullshit in my opinion. I got the Thunder Heart cause it sounded neat, and I wanted the shift light thingie, and might add a tach at a later date, it allows you to calibrate the speedo, and it ain't HD!
Yes, if you don't know what you're doing with the timing, you can screw up in a heartbeat. That said, you're left with a HD ignition tuner, or a HD sert, or one of the other options, that have pre designed maps, which are files that set everything according to what your engine has on/in it. Timing, and jeting are very important to the performance, and life of a motor.
