Cruise control???
Hi all, I'm another brand new rider. I just got the new Iron a couple weeks ago and it's my first bike. Been riding with friends and noticed how tired my wrist was getting after riding awhile. I've been looking for any kind of cruise control or throttle lock so I can rest my hand and arm a bit on the longer hauls. Any help would be awsome. Thanks.

Why not just use the 'throttle star lock' that is already installed?
I use it on all my Harley's, and set it with just enough friction that the throttle will stay in it's set position when you remove your hand, but can still be opened and closed manually with very little effort.
Back in the old days Harley's didn't even have a return throttle cable/spring, and the throttle had to be opened and closed by hand. The throttle automatic return cable/spring was only added as a 'safety feature' (much like the bank angle sensor) to keep new or less experienced riders out of trouble.

I use a Throttle Mate. It attaches to the star wheel and is easy to operate even with gloves on.
