I just use a zip tie, on the cross member, lower front frame. It's been on there for about 45,000 miles. No problems.

Two zip ties to the lower front crossmember. One throught the ring and one through the bell just in case.

I put the split ring it came on through the hole on the lower support, right where the frame downtubes turn. There was a small hole that it fit perfectly in. I can't see how that is going to go anywhere.

My bell broke off at the bell ring, I drilled two holes in it and feed some steel fishing leader through the bell and zipped it to center ofthe brake line on the front fork! that bell was bought for me the day i picked her up!
