Default Whats my Sporster worth?

I have a mint condition 2003 100th year anniversary Sportster with windshield and all items as stock. Has 8K miles on it. I may have to sell it because of the wife’s job situation. I have a Softail, so I won't be bikeless. What's a good price for me to sell at? It has the Silver and Black paint job and is immaculate.

Help would be appreciated.

Ron

sounds like he wants a serious answer.

lets look at it like this it is 6 years old and has 8k for miles, the sportster bike brand new costs what 7999 tops so I would list it at 5k. I only say this because everyone gets attached to their bikes and tries to get outrageous money for them.

I have been looking for a bike for quite a while and that offer sounds enticing to me. which is what you want. I think that is a good price.

best of luck too you though.

oh by the way what kind of sportster is it.

It all depends how quick you want to sell it. Is it a 1200 or 883? I'd say list it around $5200 or so if you want it to sell fast. If you are in no rush price it a bit higher. Since it is a 2003 it is not rubber mounted, making it less valuable regardless of the fact that it is an 03. If you need money NOW list it for $4700 and it should be sold in a couple of days.

Anniversary or various special models are more of a dealer selling point than a valid profitable resale point, unless you wait maybe another 50 years its value is just that of any other sporty for that size and options

i just bought almost the same exact bike you are trying to sell. I bought mine for $4500 because the guy was just trying to get rid of it. i thought i got a really good deal. I would say $5000-$5500 would be a good price to list it at
