When it come to spoke (laced) wheels, if you are are detail finiky as I can be, that wiping each spoke, individually one at a time, including jamming your fingers behind the hub, is the only way to get said spokes to shine.

I use a metal polish like Mothers or Eagle One brands and a soft towel. One can follow this polishing with a coat of wax, the wax to speed up future cleaning.

Some say, because of this detail work taking time, that a beer, cigar and a good friend are also required tools.

Even hosing with Simple Green etal, IMHO (if finicky) one still needs to hand polish each spoke with a wax.

My 1200N has chrome spokes.

If your spokes rust, sand paper them and keep them coated with WD40.

Never dull on chrome as it needs here as well, Blue Job if its real bad would work too. Other than that, regular car wash + water for everything else for me. Turtle Wax Scratch & Swirl Remover for swirl marks / scratches. Makes it extremely smooth as well.

I use Wizard products for the most part. I used their power cleaner for the wheels and their bike wash to clean the bike. I finished with Glare polish. It is good stuff and I found it through a thread on here. It is real expensive and is cheaper if you can find it as Honda Glare. The Honda product is the same thing only cheaper through the Honda dealers.

My sig pic is after my recent spring cleaning.

this is actually my job...I work at Kosco Harley Davidson and when doing a complete cleaning we spray the bike down with S100 Total Cycle Cleaner, then rinse, have a bucket of Harley Sun Wash Concentrate which prevents hard water spotting mixed with water and wiped over bike with a rag allow to dry and then go over with S100 Detail & Wax and a rag...been doin that for a few years now and the S100 wax is definately the way to go, I also recommend a product called ACE IT for their wax and metal polish...Keep it shiny
