New Orleans Bike Week
I posted this in the general discussion but I spend more time here than anywhere. Just wanted yall to know that New Orleans is hosting its 1st anual bike week here in New Orleans. It is May 6-10th. It is being hosted by the same people that put on Daytona and Sturgis. Come on down to the Big Easy for a great time.

After talking to my source of info they easyriders and the broken spoke want to MAKE it like sturgis. He was misinformed so I am sorry about that.
Now for all of the rash comments on New Orleans. If you have never been here you cant base what you see in the news as fact. This city has its problems but it is in ceartain parts.
I had the same views as as you when I moved from a small town in illinois to here and have come to love my city. I can let my three children play outside without me there with no worries. The national media distorts New orleans to a point that no one wants to come here.
This event is in a great place and there shouldnt be any problems. It looks as though it is shaping up to be a big event

i just hope people won't be disappointed , being it's the 1st annual and all.
if they want it to be like Sturgis, it'll be a few years...
unless they have huge biker bars all over, opening up only for the week, big pastures and stuff, for all kinds of camping...
sturgis wouldn't be as "cool" as it is, if all there was to stay at were hotels and motels...
Just saying... ya know?
i miss New Orleans... Cafe Du Monde's beignets and chocolate milk! yummy!
