Default Iron 883 stock rear shock length?

Went into a harley shop yesterday and they had an Iron that was setup looking like a cafe racer. The one thing I really liked about it was the longer rear shocks they had on it.

I'm picking up my iron in a few weeks and I'd really like to add some longer progressive rear shocks. The salesman said they were 2 inches longer than stock, but I forgot to ask what the length of the stock rear shocks are. Anyone know? Thanks.

the shocks on the iron are the same length as the ones on the current 883L and nightster... 11inches.

Ran, I replaced the 11.75" shocks on my 1200C with Progressive 13.5" Standard 440s, if I could have a small re-do I'd get the 13" ones, they have slightly more travel plus with the 13.5" ones the bottom right shock bolt can just touch the top muffler when up on a jack. The 13"ers would not allow this.

12" Progressive 412 's on my Sporty worked out well for me... without interfering with anything ....

I know I should have taken a picture...I live about 2 1/2 hours from the dealership, but will be going back in a few weeks so hopefully they will still have it.

Thanks for all of the reply's everyone! Looks like I'll be going with the 13 inch shocks. I'll be sure to get a pic of the cafe Iron and post it on here the next time I go back to that dealer.

Progressive 970 Piggyback 14" shocks on a 2022 Iron 883.
I looked up the best shocks I can get to mod out my 22 Iron 883. I have a bad back and after a 1 hour ride, I was really feeling it. So I looked up options and saw a video on this on Youtube. It's pricey but it was well worth the cost. There's more shock play on a 14" than the 11" from stock. It does change the stance though. It brings the bike up higher and it makes the kickstand feel like it would tip over. Another result is the chain guard that looks like it's mis aligned. But the ride is much much more easier on the back.
