Riding the Nightster in Alaska...(vid)
#21
Watchin' you riding in that vid makes my face hurt.... been following the progress of your bike along with a few others on this site for some time. I've been waiting for spring here in the UK to get on my Nightster... you make me feel like a right ***** too! I hate the cold weather, A friend of mine moved from here to Scottsdale AZ a few years ago, I visited him last year in June..... man that is the place to own a motorcycle. Perfect weather all year round a no helmet laws..... Respect to you ridin' in Alaska....Brrrrrrrrr!!!

i feel your pain....well part of it. I ride whenever i can here in Denver. Not as cold as where you are, but if it's 40 and sunny and the roads are clear, i'm on one of em (depending on which bike is runnin...)
last winter, i would ride 32 degrees to work, and got off early at 37, people were lookin at me weird. i just had to ride, ya know? like the first "good" day to ride in 2 to 3 weeks, with no grit on the roads, etc... the excitement makes you forget about the cold. well sorta.
i suppose you're wearin snowboardin gear, for all that water splash... good thing you got fuel injection, my bike would of taken 10 mins to putt right in that temp! Rock on man!
