To those of you who don't know what I am talking about, Teacher posted a BS pipe thread. After over 60 responses to his BS, this is his comment about wasting everybody's time.
" What wonderful thing a forum is. My intention in asking this question was not to increase my ability in getting others' attention, but rather to impress myself. A thanks to all those who offered suggestions and to those who frowned and complained, thanks for the entertainment. "
To me he is a classic troll !

In my own case I have a small windshield and cheapo soft bags on my bike and that's been good for a trip to the store for a quart of milk or a trip to the library, or a trip across country. I plan to set up my Sporty the same, a big higher quality bags though I think. Only difference is long-distance the bike will sport a bedroll.

Not much for me to add except that I find most bags to be of limited value. If you are a serious rider then you will want to take long rides and use your bike for work trips and shopping. I mount a large zip duffel on the rear Harley rack and use a fiber/plywood base with wingnuts. It goes on/off in a minute, folds down to nothing when empty, and holds all you want to carry.
