I got a friend that has had his on for one season and he's getting rust on them already, wondering if anyone else has had this problem? He's checking on the warranty because they're only 7 months old.

 

I've had my cycle shacks on for years with no rust problems. I have nothing but good to say for the price and sound. Could be humidity or a number of reasons.

 

I've had my cycle shacks for about 2.5 years, and over 45,000 miles. No rust.

 

Is any one in here running Rush Muffler on your Sportster ?

 

They do not sound the same, SS are a little on the raspy side and Rush have more growl to them and can nbe altered by changing the baffles.
You can change the sound of the SS but you have to pull the baffles and modify they.
