Wow, I just installed these things...they sound GOOD! A little louder than I was expecting (or like) but DAMN they sound good!

did you leve the buffle in them ..... fr0m what i understand you can remove them or just leve them in .... i think every one in here took the buffle out ? did they i like to no what they sound like with the buffle in ?

I bought them used and didn't even notice, quite honestly. Guess I should have looked!

I've had a full Cycle Shack system on mine for 4 years now and love them. The sound gets louder with age for sure.

I need the sound not to be to loud were i live but not stock I had a set of rush on my rocker and there were ok they had 2' buffle there were passable

I had Cycle Shacks baloney-cuts on my 1200C. Man! they were the ticket! They were loud and "sounded like a Harley should".

I heard that if you changed out your mufflers to RUSH or CYCLE SHACK and kept the baffles out, you would need to have your engine re-mapped or something like that. Have any noticed any particular change in performance?

Cycle shacks don't have removable baffles! They are practically straight pipes, but with just a couple of metal horseshoe looking things.

I didn't notice mine getting louder after the carbon built up inside. I'd say it was a more mellow sound. Not as harsh sounded as when first installed.

Well ok i change my mine and i order a set of Rush with 1.75 buffle in them i can't use a real loud muffler here were i live near ocean Ridge They don't like LOUD Bikes at all...So i am going with Rush
