I have gotten 195 miles on a tank with out hitting reserve but that all depends on how much I crank that throttle open but I reguarly get in the 180 range so I get 50+ MPG. I have the 4.5 gal tank.
I'm pretty close to this as I generally fill up at around 175/180 without using reserve. I can blow by 200 miles but I would be on the reserve at that point.
I generally get between 48 and 55mpg with the stage one running a -1 counter on a carbed 1200R. If I go easy on it I can hit 59mpg on the backroads.
I seem to constantly top of my tank so i never get a chance to measure. I was wondering is this good or bad to do ? I always use high octane and try to fill at the same place. I do this because once or twice when i got below half tank i went around a corner and sped up and it acted as if i was out of gas and spudderd and almost stalled. I know for sure i was not empty! Since then I don't want to worry about it so I just top off and she runs great. Anyone else have this happen ?
