Default Chain or belt drive?

The HD site lists 08's as having chain drivin rear wheel, but all pics I've seen are belt driven.
IDK, but the belt just doesn't appeal to me... The chain just looks badass.
Any thoughts?

They have chain driven Primary drives (from engine to transmission), but they all run belts from the tranny to the rear tire. Less maintenance and they run quiet.

Say I wanted a chain driven tire. What would that cost to upgrade to?

chain drive to me would be a downgrade. I love belts. Better than a shaft drive but as maintenance free with no mess

Maybe I'll have to settle with it then. I just love the looks of a chain and gear.

Kinda off topic, but does my sig show my picture? I think it may need to be resized.

The belt drive is one of the best things about HDs. That and self-cancelling turn signals. You won't regret the belt.
