Thanks.

Couldn't be easier to scotch brite. just get a scotch brite pad maybe some wd-40, and start rubbing back and forth. be very careful to go back and forth the length of the pipe only so no errant swirleys.

No issues with rust cause you don't go thru the chrome. You just dull it a little.

I don't know why you can't see the photos any longer except that the admin may have taken them off because of the small xl forum logo logo os advertising a competitor.

Anyway sb is very easy if thats the effect you want. Just be sure about the one direction thing and buff long rather than hard.

My bike: http://xlforum.net/photopost/showpho...0/ppuser/46777

I'll ride anytime. Where are you?

Thanks again.

I know where Valley is. Got a friend named Ronnie knight who lives there.

As far as the bolts, I used black Hot Toppers on a lot of them. On the others, belive it or not, I used a black magic marker while they were still on the bike.

Hope we can ride when it warms.

No wax on the Matte/Denim colors....it'll shine them up like a glossy black. I clean my Nightster Silver Denim/Denim Black two tone with water and dishwater soap (Dawn) and for little touch ups or wipe downs I use Windex with NO AMONIA! Works great.....keep away from car soap with WAX built in

Your owners manual gives you the goods on cleaning the denim, you can even use dishwasher liquid.
