Nice. I like the buckshot pipes. Different from all the V & H you see on them.

I have done a lot of modifications over the summer. My modifications include: mini apes, 2 up seat, quick release sissybar and quickrelease windshield (for longer rides hauling a bag/pack), HD comfort grips, HD chrome and rubber pegs, forward controls, upgraded cables, air cover insert and I can switch out the Willie G skull gas cap with the original with an old school HD medalion, depending on my mood. If these changes interest you let me know and I will post some pictures.

Hey guys need some suggestions, I want to paint the little visor over the headlight in black denim bc i have an 09 and its in gloss black. I was told to use a 1200 sand paper and then paint it using a flat black spray paint. I just purchased the colorrite harley black denim spray paint but was wondering if there is a specific way of doing this job. Thanks in advance for your help. Rob

Default Cornering issue

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has come up with a way to get around the scrapping issue when hard cornering on the Iron. I seem to get to the peg finders really quickly. I had similar problems with my cafe, but not as soon as on the Iron
I was thinking about some kind of custom exhaust that would allow me to remove the peg finders but some other riders (non Harley) that I have spoken to poo-pooed this idea.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

The Iron is a lot lower than a stock 883, thus it scrapes. I actually scraped the bolts that hold the front pipe completely off. I'm afraid the best way to get around this would be to raise the bike's suspension, that way you will gain ground clearance. I like the way the bike looks, so I just let mine scrape.

Take off the peg feelers! No kidding.
Replace with black M6 hex bolts. Shorter and are nearly invisible
