Hey everyone. I'm new here and on the verge of getting an Iron. I think the first mod for me will be the exhaust, but I love the exhaust being chrome. So I think what I will do is get something similar to a lot of the black exhausts in this thread, but try to get them in chrome.

I got my Iron 883 in early Feb. I added some Willie G. Skull accessories; footpegs, shifter peg, hand grips, Derby and timer covers, bought new flame mirrors through drag specialties, and just added Vance and Hines Black Sideshots, the Arlen Ness Big Sucker Air Filter...what a difference!!! Just responds better. I'm thinking of doing a 1200 conversion as well. I'm also looking into forward controls, a new seat and a windshield...

What kind of fuel regulator are you using or is it stock?

Bought my IRON this last week, but have to wait until May.
Always had carb bikes (97 FLHR). This is my first injected.

How much can you do, such as pipes and more-flo air filters, before you have to worry about the whole programing thing?

Will probably do the removeable carrier/docking hardware first and then a good backpack!
Going to miss my go-ahead-and bring-everything bags!

Just wanted a second smaller ride, and thought 8800. otd was more than fair. He said he only has 3 more coming for this year. seems to be the hot ticket.

I think with any type of air intake modification a remap is recommended. If you're doing just the exhaust you can probably get by without.
