**How Many Iron 883 Owners Out There?**
#2602
I just bought an iron I just learned to ride a bike at 43 yrs old.. its never too late.. lol
I begain on a 250 ninja , then a 600 ninja now I have the best.. I don't know y I didn't buy the Harley to begin with, I think I wanted to look cool.. but I get a lot of looks on the Harley.. I have to get the handlebard brought up and closer to me.. on turns on the iron, I find my arms are extended all the way and its hard to turn the damn bike.. I don't know if anyone else has had that issue? im going to try and get new bars put on tomorrow the guy said it would only take like one hour.. so far im loving my Harley its a lot of fun once you get past the fear of death.

ahh... the bike isn't completed yet. i'm adding white walls and white grips. this was my first time installing handle bars and this is my first harley. i wasn't sure if the hd parts guy give me the wrong length cables. do you think my cable setup looks normal? could i have arranged them differently? is the length good?

Possible new rider
One of my buddies was looking through this thread getting info on the iron model and deciding on weather or not to pick one up... he read a bunch of my posts and figured out it was me ... and decided to come by and check out my bike!!! I think we might have another iron owner pretty soon!!
