Awesome looking Iron Stuart ... two questions:

1) Did you just buy stock 'forty eight' seat and pillion and was there any issue fitting to the fender?

2) Are you U.K based and if so have you had any issues with your side mounted plate?

im UK based and iv never had any issues with my sidemounted plate. i also have a smaller plate than stock, still had no issues with that.
i also have the stock '48 seat which goes straight on without any issues

Some great mods on your bike, I haven't got my Iron yet, hoping to in the next month from Chester or Preston dealer but already done all the mods in my head haha.

Loved reading through this thread, thanks for all the contributions. Just ordered my Iron 883 2013, arriving in a months time custom + detach sissy, side kick seat, passenger pegs ... this thread is already giving me some great and no doubt expensive ideas!

If you haVent done this already you'll be quite amazed with the whole new world you can see behind you... Not to mention you'll get a lot of positive remarks.

New owner and new rider as of 08 Feb (yes I took the MSF course prior to buying and riding...). Bought a 2013 dark blue (ironically it matches my 05 wrangler Rubicon haha) iron 883 and love it! I was trying to hold out as long as possible in modifying it, but as of yesterday evening, i have on order the RSD 2 into 1 slant carbon ops exhaust (comes out on the 25th). Now just waiting to build the toy fund back up to order a RSD intake and get a tune (also looking into the thunder max ecm, super chips tuner, and power vision tuner). So much for keeping it stock haha. Like the previous poster said I've also been cruising the board looking at different parts and ideas... Can't wait to start tinkering! Only picture I have is from the dealer floor... Happy riding.

A quick question, I just ordered the headlight visors and was wondering if I can fit the keystone bars with them on. Has anyone tried this yet? Thanks in advanced!
