im going to be riding around 1 1/2- 2 hour trips pretty often. what seat are you all rocking that is comfortable, yet still looks good?

You guys really have some nicest pics i've ever seen of this bike. I'm sure a lot of pics will contribute to my forthcoming mod on my bike!

Sorry if this topic has been discussed in this thread. I searched "cover" in this thread, but looks like the most popular topic is about derby cover.

I'm looking for a (daily) cover for the bike. At this point, price is no more a concern for me as to cover purchase. I could get a HD branded cover for around $100. But, is any aftermarket cover better? I see dowco and nelson has some very good reviews, I'm not sure if they provide better protection against dust/moisture than HD branded ones. What is your experience with them and/or HD OEM cover? If aftermarket cover is indeed better, what size/model did you get that fits the best?

First post here. Just signed up after lurking for sometime and now I finally got my 2013' iron 883.

Picked it up at Fullerton HD in SoCal last saturday after searching for one for a few months. I got lucky and called them once my other bike finally sold, and there was 2 coming in and 1 was sold already. So I gave them a 500$ deposit and waited for it to be shipped. Production date is only 2 weeks old

Bone stock for now. (I do have a la rosa solo bag I need to install) And I ordered some black biltwell frisco bars. I want a v&h 2:1 blackout exhaust, intake kit, and a cobra auto tuner. That's all I really want for now.

Bike is awesome. It's basically only going to be used in only SoCal city type riding so its perfect size, power, lane splitting capabilities.

 

This is the holy grail...I don't think a good looking and yet comfortable seat exists. Lol

 

i was scared about that. been looking up seats for awhile now...ill see one i like...read reviews...and then i get

 

I just picked up a new 2013 Iron. I went with the new orange paint cause I think it looks totally Harley. Starting mods as of yesterday. First thing was forward controls. Next, the chrome pipes gotta go. Next, some cool low mini apes. Hope you guys like.....

 

What type of bars do you have? I want a closer fit for me, I have short arms.
