Hey Kevin883, did you paint your lense or is that just a yellow bulb?

Dakota Digital

Easy to install. Love it! Shop around but I paid $333. If you look for a HD Tachometer only is around that price. This unit will give you:
  • Fully adjustable 0- 255 MPH or KM/h Speedometer.
  • Arching Tachometer with adjustable shift point, can also be displayed as a digital numeric readout.
  • Gear Shift Position Indicator (3 to 7 speed transmissions).
  • Odometer with Dual Trip Odometers.
  • Voltmeter with low voltage alert
  • Clock
  • Cylinder Head Temperature (on models with factory head temp sensors).
  • Resettable Miles to Service with warning (user settable countdown) and hourmeter.
  • Various indicators can also be displayed such as Check Engine, Low Fuel (if equipped with factory fuel level switch) and Security Indicators.
  • Several performance calculations include: 0- 60 time, high Speed & high RPM recall, 1/4 mile time and speed.

I have the licks 10" Z bars and I like them a lot, they give you a comfortable ride position but you will have to extend your cables, I dimpled the bars so that I was able to get the cables inside the bars; I got the solo spring seat from licks cycles also (2009 iron)

How do you like them?
Comfortable?
Would 12" Z Bars be too big?
Thoughts on Z Bars with the Headlight Fairing on?
Anyone also know where/websites I can get a solo spring seat for 2012 Iron, that includes the seat pan, and seat?

Thanks ya'll.

Also, if anyone in San Diego, So Cal, wants to ride out, let me know!

i got my first Harley 2 weeks ago, iron883 in denim black
i love it so much.
id done some mods to it, which i thought were awesome, until i seen some of the irons on here. there are some sick looking bikes on here, ~jealous~.

so i put on black VnH short shots staggered
flipped the mirrors
forward controls
vibration reduction pegs, black and rubber
la rosa solo left bag
solo seat from the 'forty eight'
Willie G skull fuel cap, in chrome, which looks amazing against the flat black tank!

headlamp visor ordered in flat black.
i cant wait for that to come

Oh yeah, I forgot to post in this thread. It's been a long time coming, but I finally got my 2010 Iron a couple of weeks ago.

irons are looking good. it's been a year since i sold my mint 1-yr old 2010 iron 883 to a lucky owner in atlanta and also a year since i've had my new 2011 ducati monster 1100 evo. hanging off the duc in the curves on the winding back roads are so much fun...

still have the harley jacket and custom 3/4 helmets in my collection.

Default First 1k miles and DYI stage one

Got the bike back from the dealer after the first 1k tune up.
Went home removed and drilled the pipes(3/4), install S.E. A/C, install Xied.
$20 for drill bit ext.
$ 140 for A/C
$100 for 14xied
1h1/2 work
Dealer wanted $900 to do the same

There is something about riding your bike when when you do it yourself

Loving it.
