The stealer told me that the "quiet" baffles only take 10db of..what do you think?

Thanks! Yeah, as much as I like matte black, I think the silver strikes a nice classic look. I couldn't pass it up. I bought it as-is. The guy had already done all the mods I was planning on doing to it, and it only had 1800 miles so I jumped on it.

I don't know who made the seat, all I know is it's real gator leather and it cost the guy about $800.

Here's another pic I just took:

I installed a set in my short shots and it is slightly quieter. Also the butt dyno feels slightly more torquey at low rpms but this is probably not case. Regardless I like mine

If the pipes are on the bike already... its a bit of a pain. I did mine myself by myself but it wasnt the most fun thing ever although the tools were simple.

Flathead screwdriver to loosen the various hose clamps that held the black covers on. Then a little twisting to slide them off. Then a allen head to loosen the screw that holds the baffle in. Use a set of pliers to grip the baffles and remove.

Install in the opposite order. An extra set of hands would have been good but it wasnt awful. Loosening the exhaust can help too...

My 2010 Iron, first pic is the day i bought it. Second one is when i flipped the mirrors a few weeks ago. Have since removed the baffles in the slip-ons, sounds pretty mean now.
