**How Many Iron 883 Owners Out There?**
#1981
Did a few tiny mods to the bike over the past months...Flipped mirrors, "Carbon Fiber" vinyl wrap on the fork tubes, 48 seat, and today I did my exhaust.
48 mufflers, scotch brite to remove the chrome finish, 3/8" drilled through the baffle to wake up the tone a bit, and black header wrap to complete the chrome removal/coverup process. Total cost $74.
I'll try to get better pics tomorrow after I get the chance to hose the pollen off the bike.

Some drag bars I picked up at the swap, don't know what brand...the bag is only one of a set of Harley bags. A crack head in Atlanta gave the set to my cop cousin cause he owed him a favor. I just draped itnover the fender, ran the upper fender bolt through it.
It hangs on pretty good, although in some of the corners in the north ga mtns, it has been known to drag the road a bit.
Cheers

Hey All,
Finally got my first bike, after two years of getting my licence .... so decided to sign up here and stop drooling over everyone else's sportsters!!
2011 Iron was able to rack a little over 800 miles in 30-40days
Hope to learn a lot from here. Flipped the mirrors so far ..
i am deciding between vance & hines shorts .... (i guess like the other 90% of the iron owners) .....
but then i like the sound of bassani (at least on youtube) .... heard the v&h in person on a 48 and it sounded sick ....
so still working on my modding list!!
Here are crappy phone pics!!

welcome to the club ayyado.
It sounds like you are about to build your Iron to look something like mine.
Have a look...
