**How Many Iron 883 Owners Out There?**

My first bike
Okay so this is the first bike I've ever owned/ridden/modded and I have to admit once I was a bit nervous doing this to a brand new bike, but I just followed along with a ton of great posts on this forum and this is the (so far) end result. I still have some things I want to do like at a 1250 big bore kit, lowering air shocks and some bags. So for anyone who is thinking about bobbing/modding their bike, I've never had any experience with this and am completely technically retarded so if I can do this...anyone can.

Also, just wanted to put out there that my 1200 conversion is done. I went with the standard screaming eagle kit ($975 shipped from Zanotti) part# 30003-10 to keep the jugs the same style as the stock ones.
Had her dyno'd a couple days ago and she put up:
HP: 78
Torque: 74.3
She pulls constantly through the RPM range all the way up to 6000 RPM and is a blast. I may look at swapping out the 28T pulley with a 29T or 30T as well as some bolt in cams down the line.

Install wasn't bad, the only bad part was having to get in and change the clutch spiring (it's a lot better than the 883 one) and am using the SERT Pro Tuner. Here's a copy of the instructions of the entire hardware job:

Only issue was during the break in period. Dealer said that MOCO doesn't have a map for this upgrade and they had to load multiple ones to try to get it to run right. Had lots of exhaust popping and some surging.
They offered to remap it, but I was able to get the 500 miles done prior to the day they offered and just had them tune it.

I am in Pensacola. Got the bike from Pensacola Harley Davidson. They had to find the bike for me. I will post some pics over the weekend. Got off work early and put another 60 miles on it. She is running smooth. I feel like Evel Knievel on this thing.

Search on this forum. There is a tutorial out there. You can put it inbetween your battery covery and the battery. It will take some careful cutting of your ecm though. I'd advise you to take your time. But it can be done. That is where I have mine and I have no problems.
