Hey guys! How is everyone? I see that a lot of people are having trouble getting these licks solo bags. I actually have 2-one for the right side and one for the left side. They are both black, with the indian head nickles, and only a few months old. They're in great condition, with no problems at all. Send me a message if you're interested. These bags are awesome and I'll ship overnight immediately after payment is received. Thanks everyone. Ride safe.

Hey Guys I have been looking through the posts here and I love what everyone has been doing to the new IRON'S. I'm shopping for my first HD and love the look of the Iron 883, but I am a large guy, 6'4'' about 250 lbs. Do you think the Nightster would be a better option, power wise? I'm fairly new to motorcycles, I just don't want to buy a bike then wish it had more power in a couple months.

I am not sure about the Iron for your size, fits me perfect. You may want a different opinion from a larger person though.

I just took my MSF class at the end of last summer and bought an Iron. I am about 5-8 140 and have put about 5k on mine this summer, thinkin about a 1200 kit already.

Is the Iron your first MC? I've never rode before and the Iron is actually what finally convinced me I'm missing out. I'm actually taking the MSF class starting TONIGHT (about 2 hours from now). Just didn't know if getting a Harley as a first bike is a big first step or if I should start with something smaller to learn on. If I'm going to get a bike though, I'd like it to be a Harley!

The Iron was/is my first bike. IMO its a great bike to start out on. I put 100 miles on it the first night. I had less than 5mins total, on a motorcycle, in my whole life before I drove it off the lot.
I can see myself going for the 1200 kit for more power but I don't ever see myself trading the Iron in.
I just sent payment on some Rush Slipons. I can't wait to get them on.

Bigger Bike
Hey Bud, I was in the same boat last August. Never been on a bike and went out and bought the Iron. I love the bike still, but I'm ready for more metal. I rode my friends night train and that was it. I'm small too, 5'5 about 145 so I think you would really do better on a bigger bike. The Iron is perfect for cruising around town, but if you want to take long trips on highway/freeway you will for sure want to go bigger. I got my eye on the street bob now (Iron's big brother). You've probably heard people say "you're gonna want a bigger bike after a while" and they're 100% right.
