+1, leaving my drag bars chrome for the same reason, although I do get some flashes of sunshine reflecting into my eyes occassionally. Nothing I can't look past. Nice job.

Any issues with it so far? My wife is pushing me to get one, but I don't want her skinny *** sliding off the fender. Also, did you need to install any brackets to mount the passenger pegs? Thanks for the info.

well when i had the stock fender i did have an issue with the pad not staying so i made a home made sissy bar that held down the seat a little and gave back protection my wife loved it.now with the new fender and paint it sticks too good it peels the paint right off thats why im making it permanent. yes you do need brackets for passenger pegs got mine from the stealer $99. but im sure you could find em cheaper from like ebay or something.im not going to use the sissy bar anymore if your interested pm me and check out my older photos.its ghetto but it works and it only cost me time.

Visit my garage on here and you will see a detailed listing of mod's - and pix - and I have her on Craigslist so that I can purchase a street glide in the fall.

I just bought a new 883 iron a month ago. I have installed vance and hines short shots and a springer seat.I flipped the mirrors upside down and installed forward controls. I also have a set of roland sands 12" vintage apes on the way.I have not installed a fuel pack and the bike runs great.I have had a lot of fun on this bike

another random question from me. are rigid struts worth it? i like the clean look of them but how much more harsh does it make the bike ride? also, is there a vendor or site that sells nice chopped fenders for the iron? i looked on licks and didn't like their options at all.

Here's a crappy picture of my 10 Iron. It's brand new, mods and better pictures to come soon.

Default Painting Stock Exhaust.

Hey, I can't afford new exhaust yet, I'm wondering if anyone has pictures on an Iron with painted stock exhaust. Seems like it would be pretty simple to do.

Thanks,

Valor
