installed some mini apes i picked up used from a street bob , so much better feel , best $30 i have spent yet!, all stock wires and cables , brake cable will be replaced soon though....just bent it a little for now

should i leave them chrome , or paint them black ???? like them chrome...but think they would look better black...

sorry about the cell pics

i may have enough wire to run internally without adding on to them.....this winter

leave em chrome they have a good look with the little bit of chrome up front. IMO

how hard is it to remove the controls when doing a handlebar swap? i ordered some drag bars but am a little unsure about the hand controls...

it was my first time so.....i just winged it , did the frt. brake lever cardboard trick and took my time , sorry i cant offer more info , also make sure the wires get pushed up into the dimples on the bar so they dont get pinched

What's the cardboard trick? Sorry, I'm a total newb to bikes. I've built three different cars but this is a totally different animal.

hey northwoods iron..nice ride..black it out..where did you get the tank risers?..are they just metal brackets?

a couple questions..where do you get the ignition and speedo relocate kits?..and has anyone on here tried the s@s carb changeover
