just got my 2010 iron the other day. i'm wanting to throw an old springer seat on it and remove the rear fender. Anyone have any good ideas about where to move the fuel injector module? i talked to joebotics already but i don't have access to fab a piece of steel up. any help would be appreciated!

You shouldn't need to relocate it. You have a 2010 model. The ECM is in front of the battery tray in the "engine bay". 2009 and earlier ECMs were in the rear fender under the seat thus requiring you to relocate it if you wanted a seat that was not made specifically to cover this spot.

Glenn.. you are ok to proceed, Fox4 is right about the new location of the ECM on the 2010 models.. I am sure MOCO relocated it on the 2010 models in order to be able to sell their own spring seat versions.. you got lucky.. :-)

They must not have updated the site to be compliant with the new model year, even though the 2011 will be out in a couple months.. Check out the parts and accessories portion of the HD website and check out the spring seat they have now. You will see that it works on 04-06 and 10 models, and not the 07-09 models. The 04-06 have no ECM and the 2010 have a new ECM location.
