LOL, the first thing to go will be that stupid rear fender! It will look so much better with something curved around that back tire and the brake light wired in the signals and a side mount plate

As for the trade, I was shocked! it was worst case for them in my opinion. The bike had 13,270 miles on it and it was a 07. lots of tank scuffs and a few on the rear fender. it did have a heavy breather on it and wide glide bars, forward controls, but that's it.

Anyway the dealer deserves mention, if your in or around central PA Susquahanna Harley is the best all around dealer I've ever been too!

Congrats on the new ride. I saw my 08 XL1200C for sale at the dealer the other day. Almost brought a few tears to my eyes. Then I hopped on my FLSTC and all those sad thoughts of missing my first Harley disappeared. However, if I ran into some extra disposible cash, I'd buy it back from them.

I know what you mean. just watching the tech take the nightster for a test ride ,I was feeling defensive.LOL!

What really sucks now ,is it's going to be sunny and in the 60's this weekend and i've got no bike! for another 2 weeks. Good thing spring is in the air!

Enjoy that new bike. But, keep in mind that discomfort is at your discretion. When I get off my Sportster, folks come to gawk at the saddle. "Never seen a saddle like it" is what most of them say. I tell them it is nothing custom, just a Harley pillow top that is reasonably priced.

My advice is to get a comfortable saddle on the new bike that you and the lady can enjoy. It is easy to swap to a cool looking bicycle seat when you want to impress your buddies down at the corner bar.

Just a few days ago we had an overnight low temperature of 6 degrees...

Today it is suppose to be sunny and reach 80 degrees.

Just changed the oil, filter, primary fluid, tranny fluid, air filter and plugs on the Softail, so I'm ready to go........
