I think that might be the big problem...the seat is a monster...it is great when I am up and riding but stopping in town all the time chafes the crap out of my thighs.......give and take I guess

Those might be the stock shocks....I know mine were something like 13" on my '00 883 XLH, but I dumped those for 10" Lick's short shocks...But if you want some shock travel, I don't really suggest them, as they'll only give you about 1/4 " to 1/2" of travel. I'd have to pull the stockers from my attick to measure though.
