Default Crazy thing

I just put 2" straights on my 1200 and it amazes me how it still isnt that loud (to Me) when I am heading down the road. I am sure it is behind me though.

Anyway I have a stage 1 jet kit that I am getting ready to put on, will that cure the backfiring.

Also the pipes were cheap(I have 3 kids and am poor) but they started to blue already. I assume that covers are the only cure.

Thanks

BTW the 3in lowering kits on ebay are amazing.....my bike is so tall it needs another few inches. I believe there is an overstuffed seat on it when I bought it
